Feeling ready for a change but unsure about the right therapy for you? Worried about facing overwhelming issues and questioning your ability to handle them?

Meet Javier.

As a Registered Therapist, Javier understands that seeking help can be intimidating, with lots of questions swirling in your mind. He provides a safe space to address your concerns at your own pace. Together, you and Javier will tackle the big questions, delving into the core of your needs. Using your strengths, you'll increase self-awareness and address past unresolved issues.

Life's experiences leave imprints on our bodies, and psychotherapy helps align your mind and body. It explores whether anything from your past is holding you back in patterns that no longer serve you.

In your therapeutic journey, you chart the course, and Javier guides it. He offers therapy in English, Spanish, and French, drawing from a diverse background and incorporating approaches like Gestalt Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. This holistic approach ensures you connect with your body, understanding the emotions it carries and how to interpret its cues.

The ideal therapy provides empathetic support while addressing challenges tailored to your growth. Javier is dedicated to understanding your unique needs, offering empathetic listening, and crafting a path that suits you perfectly. Whether you're an individual, couple, or family, Javier is here to support you on your journey.

Self-Disclosure

I'm in my 60s, born in Germany but mostly of Spanish descent. I have lived and worked in Europe, Africa and North America over the years.

I've been married, widowed, divorced, single and have always felt the power of being in love and being loved.

I am a cancer survivor.

I have two teenagers at home who amaze me without fail every day.

Although I don't feel connected to a single religion, the stories we tell about the spirit world are very important to me.

Javier the Person

What has been your favourite age growing up and why?

Every age has been so rich and unique in challenges and gifts but my 40's stand out as the perfect combination of vitality, ability, and connection to the world around me.

I'm always learning new ones, each one made seemingly more profound by its newness. Recently I've been giving thought to "You're not always responsible for what happened to you; but you are responsible for how you deal with it".

Of course Horace's "Carpe Diem" has always had a hold on me - seize the day.

Do you live by any words of wisdom, or a motto?

I love the 4 corners area of the American Southwest - the deserts, the canyons, the mesas, the buttes, the cliff sides. My "bucket list" must have a hole in it because I keep wanting to go back to the same place!

What’s next on your bucket list?
